I appeal to my voters to ensure maximum turnout from your state during these elections and give the BJP a resounding majority so that we can revive the economy here: PM Modi in West Bengal
With the support that I witness here, I am certain that the people of West Bengal are all set to give a major jolt to the TMC and its Mahamilawati allies in these elections: PM Modi
Prior to 2014, Congress had created a record in the number of scandals that happens under its nose. Now, the TMC is following the Congress’ footsteps in both widespread corruption and crime: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a large rally in Asansol in West Bengal this afternoon. Speaking about the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi said that West Bengal was all set to create history by overwhelmingly voting for the BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Encouraging his supporters to stand firmly with the BJP in order to revive West Bengal’s ailing economy, PM Modi said, “I appeal to my voters to ensure maximum turnout from your state during these elections and give the BJP a resounding majority so that we can revive the economy here and also put an end to widespread crime, violence and corruption that has gripped Bengal for a long time now. With the support that I witness here, I am certain that the people of West Bengal are all set to give a major jolt to the TMC and its Mahamilawati allies in these elections.”

Taking on the ruling TMC for its endemic corruption and for indulging in political violence against the BJP, Prime Minister Modi said, “Prior to 2014, Congress had created a record in the number of scandals that happens under its nose. Now, the TMC is following the Congress’ footsteps in both widespread corruption and crime. The TMC has even gone a step further by endemic political violence and bullying unleashed by TMC goons on the BJP workers and supporters. However, they must know that all these tactics are not going to discourage the BJP in its pursuit to strength democracy in West Bengal.”
