Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi donated on Armed Forces Flag Day

He called upon the people of Gujarat to donate on the Armed Forces Flag Day. CM said that many young and dedicated armed forces personnel have made sacrifices. It is the responsibility of every citizen for the welfare and care of the families of these martyrs, and the rehabilitation of the disabled and retired servicemen.

Funds collected on the Armed Forces Flag Day are utilized towards the welfare schemes for the benefit of ex-servicemen and their families.

On this occasion, Mr. Modi also made his  contribution  to the office-bearers of  State Sainik Board, Gandhinagar  District Collector P. Swaroop, District  Development  Officer M.M. Gandhi, school students and  NCC cadets of the  capital  township,  for the Armed Forces  Flag Day Fund.

Prime Minister condoles the demise of former President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of former President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari. Shri Modi recalled his meetings and conversations with former President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari on various occasions. Shri Modi said that Muhammadu Buhari’s wisdom, warmth and unwavering commitment to India–Nigeria friendship stood out. I join the 1.4 billion people of India in extending our heartfelt condolences to his family, the people and the government of Nigeria, Shri Modi further added.

The Prime Minister posted on X;
