In Dhaurahra, PM Modi highlighted that Lakhimpur Kheri and Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, known as the sugar bowl of the state, suffered under the SP government, leaving sugarcane farmers in distress. He said, “The BJP government has addressed these issues by clearing pending dues and increasing payments to farmers.
