PM Modi chaired review meeting of Covid vaccine rollout with Chief Ministers of all states. He said, From 16th January we are starting the world's largest vaccination programme. Two 'Made in India' vaccines have been given emergency use approval. He added that health workers will be vaccinated first, followed by sanitation workers, other frontline workers, defence forces, Police and other paramilitary forces will be vaccinated in the first phase. Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the status of COVID-19 in the country along with the preparedness of the State/UTs for COVID vaccination. Vaccination drive will kick off on 16th January, 2021. Priority will be given to the healthcare workers and the frontline workers.
