Messages on fitness from Sadhguru, Harmanpreet Kaur, Viswanathan Anand, Akshay Kumar and Rishabh Malhotra were featured. The PM emphasized mental health, showcased health startups, and discussed about Bhashini, the AI for real-time translation. He also paid tribute to Savitribai Phule and Rani Velu Nachiyar.

PM visits Bandipur and Mudumalai Tiger Reserves

PM Modi visited the Bandipur and Mudumalai Tiger Reserves in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. He also visited the Theppakadu Elephant camp in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve where he interacted with mahouts and kavadis and also fed the elephants. The PM also interacted with elephant keepers featured in the Oscar-winning documentary, The Elephant Whisperers.

PM Modi inaugurated a programme commemorating of 50 years of Project Tiger at Mysuru. The PM expressed happiness that India is home to 75% of the world’s tiger population in the 75th year of Indian independence. It is also a coincidence that the tiger reserves in India cover 75,000 square kilometers of land and in the past 10 to 12 years, the tiger population in the country has increased by 75 percent.
