PM Modi, in his address during the press meet PM Prachanda, acknowledged the significant bilateral ties between India and Nepal. He said that the ‘HIT’ formula would serve as a transformative agenda in the relations between the two countries. Various agreements in the areas of rail connectivity, energy, cross border digital payments among others were signed between the two countries.

PM Modi arrives in Kathmandu, Nepal for 4th BIMSTEC Summit

PM Narendra Modi arrived in Kathmandu where he will take part in the 4th BIMSTEC Summit. The Summit focuses on the theme ‘Towards a Peaceful, Prosperous and Sustainable Bay of Bengal Region.’ On the sidelines of the Summit, the PM will hold talks with several world leaders. PM Modi will meet PM KP Sharma Oli and review India-Nepal bilateral relations. PM Modi and PM Oli will also inaugurate the Nepal-Bharat Maitri Dharamshala at the Pashupatinath Temple Complex.
