PM Modi attended the 57th National Day celebrations of Mauritius as the Chief Guest, where President Dharambeer Gokhool conferred upon him the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (G.C.S.K), the country’s highest civilian award. PM Modi dedicated the honor to the enduring friendship between India and Mauritius. The celebrations also featured an Indian Navy marching contingent and a port call by an Indian Naval Ship.
