PM Modi addresses Inaugural Session of BIMSTEC Summit

PM Narendra Modi addressed the inaugural session of BIMSTEC Summit in Kathmandu. Noting that all BIMSTEC nations were strongly connected by civilization, history, art, language, cuisine and shared culture, PM Narendra Modi called for further strengthening the cooperation. PM Modi called for an enhanced participation of all member countries to tackle challenges like terrorism and drug trafficking.

In his closing remarks at the ASEAN summit, PM Modi said that all 3 pillars of our partnership - security, economic & socio-cultural have registered good progress. PM also said that India will continue to expand & deepen its economic engagements with ASEAN.
