Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Costa launch unique Start-up portal

Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Costa today launched a unique startup Portal - the India-Portugal International StartUp Hub (IPISH) - in Lisbon. This is a platform initiated by Startup India and supported by Commerce & Industry Ministry and Startup Portugal to create a mutually supportive entrepreneurial partnership.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Potuguese PM Antonio Costa took stock of bilateral ties and coperation in several sectors. During the press statement, PM Modi said, Start-up sphere is an interesting space for cooperation. It is a great means to generate value and wealth for society. PM Modi added that new agreements in taxation, science, youth affairs and sports outlined the expanding scope of our partnership.
