PM's departure statement ahead of his visit to Republic of Poland and Ukraine

PM Modi will visit Poland and Ukraine from 21-24 August 2024. In Poland, he will meet PM Donald Tusk and President Andrzej Duda. He will also address a community programme in Warsaw. In Ukraine, PM Modi will meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and hold bilateral talks as well as share perspectives on peaceful resolution of the ongoing Ukraine conflict.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on phone with H.E. Andrzej Duda, President of Poland. The Prime Minister thanked President Duda for the assistance provided by Poland in evacuation of Indian citizens from Ukraine and for the special gesture of relaxing visa requirement for Indian citizens crossing over to Poland from Ukraine.
