Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Maharashtra

PM Modi will visit Maharashtra on 12th January, 2024. He will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 12,700 crore in the public programme in Navi Mumbai, including the Mumbai Transharbour link (MTHL), now named ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari - Nhava Sheva Atal Setu. He will also inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival (NYF) in Nashik.

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Diamond Manufacturing Unit of M/s Hare Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd in Surat. The Prime Minister said Surat has made a mark in the diamond industry but there is now need to look at the entire gems and jewellery sector. He said that as far as the gems and jewellery sector is concerned, our aim should not only be ‘Make in India’ but also 'Design in India'.
