PM Modi remembers Padma Bhushan Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak

Hours after PM Modi's address at the 77th Independence Day celebrations, he was heartbroken when he learned that Padma Bhushan Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak had passed away at Delhi's AIIMS Delhi. PM Modi, soon after forming the government in 2014, first declared cleanliness as a mission and in the course of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, he also got inspiration from Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, the son of the soil of Bihar.

PM Narendra Modi was presented with a copy of the book titled 'Mahatma Gandhi's Life in Colour’. Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, renowned sociologist and the founder of Sulabh International presented the copy to the PM.
