PM Modi receives the highest Civilian Award of Mauritius at the National Day Celebrations

PM Modi attended the 57th National Day celebrations of Mauritius as the Chief Guest, where President Dharambeer Gokhool conferred upon him the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (G.C.S.K), the country’s highest civilian award. PM Modi dedicated the honor to the enduring friendship between India and Mauritius. The celebrations also featured an Indian Navy marching contingent and a port call by an Indian Naval Ship.

PM Modi meets with the President of the Republic of Mauritius

PM Modi, during his visit to Mauritius, met with President Dharambeer Gokhool at the State House, reaffirming the strong India-Mauritius ties. He handed over OCI cards to the President and First Lady as a special gesture. He also visited the Ayurveda Garden, highlighting cooperation in traditional medicine. President Gokhool hosted a State lunch in his honor.
