India goes to Moon again: This time to come back to Earth after landing on the Moon

The Union Cabinet has approved the Chandrayaan-4 mission, aimed at developing technologies for a safe return from the Moon and lunar sample collection. Targeting an Indian Moon landing by 2040, the mission will showcase critical technologies such as docking and landing. With a budget of ₹2,104.06 crore, ISRO will manage the project over 36 months, involving industry and academia. This mission will enhance India's self-sufficiency in space technologies and establish facilities for lunar sample analysis.
